We walked into the Old City to have lunch with Nora Kort about noon. Friday is the Muslim Holy Day and cars were double parked up the hill.
People were leaving their cars parked in the middle of the road and walking to the Dome of the Rock for their Friday prayers.
We entered New Gate and went to Nora Korts museum on King David's Street. She had invited Gauda Khoury (runs an outreach program for older people) and her friend Yvette to have lunch with us. We had such a good time. Good food, great conversation, and dear friends. These women are really funny. They started sharing experiences at the airport where they have been detained. Gauda finally said "All Palestinians are VIPs". I will miss these women.
