Wednesday 17 December 2014 Effeta, Ultra Orthodox Jew, Jerusalem Center views

One of the nuns from Effeta came to pick up a check.  I really admire and appreciate the nuns we have gotten to know.  I feel a kinship with them as they sincerely go about doing the Lord's work.  They dedicate their whole lives to the Lord starting at a fairly young age.

The Ultra Orthodox Jews have certain neighborhoods where they live.  This area is Ramat Eshkol, west of the Jerusalem Center. Their clothing tells alot about them- where their ancestors immigrated from as well as the religious sect they identify with.
View from the main hallway looking west to the Old City.

The arches act as a frame of the Old City.
