Sunday 1 February 2015 Moving Friends of Fahmi Library, dinner with Moshe and Rachel

A group of about 12 students went with us to help move the Fahmi Library.  We started at the Ansari home where we loaded 150+ boxes onto a truck.

Inas's nephew, Chandler Kendall, and Adam Eastburn
We formed a chain handing them over a retaining wall.

We had great help and attitudes from the students. Tyra Salisbury, Savanna Jackson, and Emily Braithwaite.

Someone had made a pool table.  It was quite impressive.

Our moving group with Inas and her parents on the front row.
The Ansari home is built right into the side of the hill.  Mr. Ansari's father built it and it is now a family home.

We delivered the boxes to the new library.  It is in the basement of an existing school outside of the Old City.

Next to the library on the basement level is the kindergarten/pre school.  The kids took a break as we were leaving and our BYU students wanted to get to know them. Emily Braithwaite (middle) is the service committee co-chair. On the left is Trevor Heath and Tyra Salisbury.
There were enough hugs and smiles for everyone, including Jennifer Hansen.

Savannah Jackson was a student of mine at Sego Lily (3rd grade).  She received her mission call her.

Angela Lund, Nathan Ricks, Trevor Heath, Tyra Salisbury, Emily Braithwaite, and Jennifer Hansen

Adam Eastburn is the other co-chair of the committee.
