The students did their second kit assembly for this semester. The first was school kits - this time it was hygiene kits. They formed an assembly line to put into bags the following items: 2 bars of soap, 4 toothbrushes, 1 tube of toothpaste, and 2 towels. They put 5 packages in each box and tape them closed. Linda and I find organizations through our humanitarian contacts to distribute the kits .
The students had a Halloween party in the garage in the evening. They had very little to work with for costumes, but they became very creative.
End of the assembly line, sealing the plastic bags, putting the bags into boxes, and taping the boxes closed. The boxes are stored in the humanitarian closet at the back of the picture.
Napolean Dynamite on the left.
More of the costumes.
What is Halloween without witches?
Eco Man had a costume of trash - newspaper, discarded bottles, etc.
