Sunday 4 January 2015 Moshe and Rachel and Tel Aviv Museum and Herziliya restaurant

We met Moshe and Rachelle at their home in Yavne after we delivered school kits to Kanot.
They wanted to take us to a kibbutz but the weather was cold and we didn't have enough time so they took us to a museum in Tel Aviv that had a special display on kibbutz life in the Galilee.

This is a photograph of Teddy Kollek on the left and David Ben Gurion on the right.  Teddy Kollek  was the mayor when the Jerusalem Center was built and was very helpful in getting it approved and completed.  David Ben Gurion was the first Prime Minister.

This was a postal truck they used to service the kibbutz.

This is a skyline view of Tel Aviv while driving to Herziliya for dinner.

They took us to a sea food restaurant that was located on the pier.  The fish was delicious and the salads were many and varied.  It was a great day.  That evening we hurried back for the Sunday Night Concert at the Jerusalem Center where we ushered.
