Friday 10 October 2014 Conservative Synagogue visit

Often on Friday evenings, Blaine and I will pick a random neighborhood and visit their synagogue.  We've been to the Great Synagogue in Western Jerusalem 3 times so this time we went to the Conservative Synagogue across the street. The rabbi was from the United States so his message was in English.  He said it doesn't matter how much we study religion if we aren't a better person after.  They had a Shabbat/Succot dinner after the meeting behind the synagogue.
