2 September 2014 Lital at Kamah, Ramzieh and Rawaida at Amutah

Tues. Sept. 2, we took the Hopkins to the organizations that BYU has helped with up in the Galilee area. We went to the Kamah Kibbutz that services and houses the handicapped.  They have a bakery, pottery, weaving, and book making workshops.  I am impressed with their facilities and staff.

In the kibbutz living area there are no fences and the homes flow from one area to another.

In the afternoon we went to Tamara, Israel, a Palestinian town, where me met Ramzieh and Rawaida of the organization of Amutah.  Amutah is an after school program for Palestinian children.  Ramzieh, the woman in the scarf is a member of the Tiberias Branch and is also Muslim.

  1. I love seeing pictures on your blog of all that you're doing. You are such great humanitarian people. It's fun to see the Hopkins fitting right in also.
