The lower entrance to the Jerusalem Center comes out in a residential part of East Jerusalem. The entrance is to the left. These are pictures walking down to the Kidron Valley on our way into the Old City.
Trash is always a problem at the lower gate. It is city property and they don't have adequate infrastructure to keep the city clean. Also people litter a lot here.
This is the entrance to the JC. We have a service project periodically to clean the grounds, but it doesn't stay clean for long.

This is where we buy a lot of our produce. It is just outside the Old City across the street from the fire station. We affectionately call it Costco because it is a wholesale grocery.
