Sunday 11 May 2014 Beit Safafa and waiting in line at the store

On Sunday, May 11, we went to Beit Saffa's Women's society annual bazaar.  They were selling homemade handicrafts, mostly embroidered things like purses.  I bought a few and took them back to the Jerusalem Center and showed the ladies.  Some of them wanted to buy purses for themselves.  Our friend Zaidoun came over to the center to take the order.  We bought another 75 things.  Zaidoun's mother is the woman on the right and is the pres. of the organization.

After the bazaar we found a new grocery store.  It took us 45 min. in line.  Many of the people grocery shop online.  After this experience, we can see why.  The lines moved very slowly and the people loaded up their carts to capacity.  It was a discount store.  Costumer service is not very good.
