Thursday & Friday 15-16 May 2014 Student cleaning project and tours

On Friday, May 16, we had our kit assembly cancelled.  Instead we offered our services cleaning the wood panels in the upstairs hallway.  Most of the students came and we worked hard for one hour.  We didn't finish, so there is a big difference between those that have been cleaned and those that haven't.

We give tours Wed., Thurs., and Friday.  There is a short video about BYU Jerusalem Center that lasts about 12 minutes.  Then they go into the auditorium where Jan Clayton gives a short organ recital of 3 pieces. We take them through the building pointing out the mosaics and water fountain, out on the terrace for a great view of the city, show them the models of the four temple periods, through the Biblical garden and end on the upper grounds. The following pictures are of a group of photographers on a tour in the auditorium.

The photographers were all over the place.

I think it was a little annoying for Jan as she played the organ.
