Sunday 6 July 2014 Service at Atnachta

Sunday July 6, 2014, we went to Atnachta  to help with some of the children. They were at an activity so we helped with yard work. Atnachta is a Jewish organization that provides a safe place  for children between the ages of 13-18.  They may have run away from home or just been in a bad family situation. Everyone is welcome.  No one is turned away based on religion or nationality. They can stay up to 3 months. Pictured from L to R are Brett Jenkins (student), Masha (director of Atnachta), woman we worked with, Chris Schmutz (student) and Kyle Schofield (student).  They rewarded us with ice cream. After we went to the shuk- outdoor market ( Manhane Yehuda),
and drove through MeaShe'arim, the Hisidic Jewish part of town.
