Sunday 29 June 2014 Knesset

Blaine and I took a tour of the Knesset, which is where their government is centered.  This is a menorah in the park across the street.

The plenary is the room where the bills are drafted and committees  meet.  The outer ring of chairs are open for the public to view the proceedings.

There is an electronic record of all of the people in the Knesset and who is presently in the building.

This is the general assembly room.  There are 120 members of which 12 are Palestinian.

This is a tapestry designed by Chagall that is in one of the foyers.  It represents the past, present and future of Jerusalem.
