Sunday Oct. 19 was the first day it has rained since last year. It
rains only for a few months of the year. During that period it is
supposed to rain enough for the whole year. Last year was a very dry
year. We had one big snow storm and a few days of rain but not nearly
enough. I guess the prayers for rain at the end of Sukkot worked. They
had the prayers at the Western Wall on Wed. and Sunday it rained.
The city was engulfed in a rain cloud. It's always beautiful to look at.
