Tuesday 21 October 2014 Russian Orthodox Church in Russian Compound, Seder Meal

While I was helping the students teach at Spafford School, Blaine went to the Russian Orthodox Church.

Church in the Russian Compound,  West Jerusalem.

That evening was the Sedar Dinner in the Oasis.  Before we started the meal, we had a ritual hand washing.
Gaye Strathern and Donna Funk were at our table.  The meal was salmon, chicken, roasted potatoes shaped like a pear, vegetables, and apple strudel and ice cream.  Yum
This is the Jewish teacher  Ophir Yarden and his son.  Ophir led the Sedar dinner.

  1. We tried to get into that Russian Orthodox church twice. It was locked both times. Thanks for sharing pictures.
