Jon and Lisa and family arrived April 3. The morning of April 4th they went into Bethlehem and met our friend Sahar Qumseyeh and her sister-in-law Jesse, who took them around Bethlehem. They went to the Church of the Nativity, Shepherds field etc. Sahar took them to her home and introduced them to her mother. They had freshly squeezed lemonade and saw some exotic animals. After they went to a restaurant for authentic Palestinian cuisine. It was a highlight of their trip. That afternoon we met them at St. Anne's. William couldn't go a step further.
The flowers and gardens were beautiful at St. Anne's Church. St. Anne was Mary's mother.
We stopped at Shaban's shop and Mohamed (Shaban's son) dressed Tal and Jackson as Palestinians.
Shaban took us to the roof that overlooked the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
This is where they place packages that are left unattended. It's a bomb detonator device.
