Monday 31 March 2014 Tel Aviv - Yafo

We went to Yafo (Jaffa) on the Mediterranean Sea south of Tel-Aviv. It is one of the world's oldest cities and fishing ports. The Church of St. Peter is supposed to be where Peter had his vision of the net and also where he raised Tabitha from the dead.  The church faces west towards the ocean and Rome where Catholics believe he became the first Pope. Most churches face east.

We came to Jaffa on March 31,2014.  It was the end of the month and we hadn't used all of our allocated miles so we invited John and Jan Clayton to go with us.   It's about 1 1/2 hours from Jerusalem. The flowers, views of the sea, shopping, and the quaint charm of this ancient sea port made it a fun place to walk around.

Magnum Bar break.  Magnum Bars are the equivalent of a Dove Bar.
