Abbass Abbass and Eran Hayet met in Eran's office in the Jerusalem Center. Abbass is the director of a society for the blind. When applying for college, he needed a doctors's approval. The doctor he went to said with his handicap he could never succeed in college. After he had finished college and started his own organization, he went back to the same doctor and told him what he had accomplished. The doctor told him, "I'm sorry, It was I who was blind". He then became his first donor for his organization.
Thurs. morning we went to Ein Yael where the kids had hands on projects, like weaving, pottery, mosaics, etc. That afternoon we went to the zoo. Later in the evening we went to the Light Show at the Tower of David. It showed the history of Jerusalem through pictures created with light. Here we are on our way home in the Mamila Maul shopping area.
