Sunday 6 April 2014 Jon's family at the Temple Mount and YMCA

Jon, Lisa, Tal, Jackson, and Blaine got up early the next morning and walked to the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wall which are adjacent to each other.  The women are standing on chairs watching  the men's section of the Western Wall.

At the Dome of the Rock they saw men studying the Koran before going to work.  Each time we've  approached them, they've always stopped to talk with us about their side of the conflict with Jerusalem.

Later that morning I took Ellie and Will to meet the others at the YMCA where we played the carillon bells. Jan Clayton helped Jackson and Ellie  sound like professionals.

Ellie was a little hesitant at first but quickly caught on.

Tal's music lessons paid off.

Lisa and Jon are always great together.

Jackson played with Jan.

After, they had a family picture next to the bells.

In the basement of the YMCA is a little chapel. We entered by climbing down a circular staircase from the carillon. This is the door that exits into the basement hallway.

Later that day we went through Hezekiah's water tunnel, to the Shouk for shopping, and a stroll down Ben Yehuda St.   All without thinking to take any pictures. That night Jon and Lisa hosted the Sunday night concert while I stayed with the kids.
